Why Running Two Devices From One EXT Port Matters
The Grenadier has a fixed number of EXT rooftop outlets — EXT1, EXT2, EXT3, and EXT4 depending on trim. Each is a single DTP port. Without a splitter, each port can only run one accessory. Once your ports are allocated, you're out of factory power connections.

Rooftop DTP Port Allocation — With and Without Splitter
The Grenadier has two rooftop DTP accessory ports: EXT2 and EXT3. EXT2 is a single dedicated port above the driver's door (right side). EXT3 has three access points — above the left front door, above the left rear door, and above the right rear door. EXT1 and EXT5 are under-hood; EXT4 is the 500A NATO/winch port. Without a splitter, you have two independent connections total for rooftop accessories.
