Why the Dual Finish Matters
Anodize First
Anodizing converts the aluminum surface into aluminium oxide — bonded into the metal, not a coating on top. Provides a hard base layer and prepares the surface for the powder coat.
Powder Coat Over
Powder coat applied over the anodized layer adds chip resistance, scratch protection, and a UV-stable colour layer. The factory version stops at anodize — this goes further.
Result: Trail-Ready Durability
Two finish layers versus one means the DVA belt resists the stone chips, brush contact, UV exposure, and trail abuse that cause factory anodized panels to show wear over time.

The factory Armor Utility Belt uses anodized aluminum only. DVA adds a powder coat layer over the anodize — a dual-finish system that provides superior chip and scratch resistance, corrosion protection, and UV stability against sun fading. Same OEM dimensions and bolt-on fitment, meaningfully better surface durability.
What accessories can I mount to these rails?
The utility belt accepts standard L-Track accessories — jerry can mounts, recovery board carriers (Maxtrax, TRED, ARB), light mounts, MOLLE panels, and tie-down anchors. Compatible with the majority of expedition gear mounting systems that use L-Track fittings.
Does this cover all 6 positions like the factory option?
Yes. The full set includes front driver and passenger doors, rear driver and passenger doors, and rear trunk driver and passenger sides — complete 6-position coverage, identical to the factory Armor Utility Belt option.
Is installation difficult?

I purchased my INEOS Grenadier on a bit of a tight schedule, primarily driven by the attractive 1.99% APR promotion and the associated tight budget constraints. This haste meant I didn't perform my usual deep-dive research and, regretfully, I had to forgo several factory accessories I would have otherwise ordered—the crucial exterior belt rails being one of them.
This initial oversight quickly became a problem. The stock area where the rails would sit features cheap plastic trim pieces that immediately made the truck look incomplete and, frankly, less premium than it should. Worse still, these factory plastic components were already showing early signs of rust and noticeable warping. It was clear this was a weak point in the vehicle's exterior finish.
The DVA Mechanics Exterior Utility Belt full set was the perfect solution. I am extremely happy with DVA Mechanics' products overall, and this upgrade immediately transformed the look of my Grenadier. It replaces those unsightly, cheap plastic strips with robust, quality rails, solving both the aesthetic issue and the durability concerns of the stock parts.

Greatbproduct overall, but started to have rust spots 5 month in. Rust spots are where the rain water sits in the recess openings.

I was missing 5 small L track door pieces in my shipment. There is no contact phone number to talk with someone. The website has a message contact for wich I sent two. I received an email saying that the missing pieces will be sent out. There's no tracking and all I can do is hope I get the missing pieces. If not, I guess I'll sent a text and hope some more. I have little confidence without communicating with a human being in an analog sort of way.

Not sure I’ll use these rails for much more than keeping the umbrella from flying away at the beach, but a Grenadier MUST have them!

I can’t compare from OEM. it seems to be quality aftermarket. Screws are anodized glossy compared to factory Matt. I prefer finishing of the OEM screws.

Fantastic edition to my car - looks amazing and the product is great quality. I was able to complete nearly all of it myself. The only trouble I had was two really tight screws that I needed help with - the rest I managed myself. Thanks for a great quality product.

These look great. Glad I swapped from the factory bumpers. Only thing Soso is the hardware. I had some gloss screw and some matte and there were no directions online. But they all fit great and went on without issue. Happy with the upgrade.
