The bracket keeps the lights inside the bumper opening
DVA sells the textured black powder-coated steel bracket alone or with a 3-Light Kit, 2-Light Kit, or 32" Bar Kit. It uses existing threaded positions in the Grenadier bumper structure. No drilling or cutting is required.
The bracket holds the lighting inside the bumper opening. That position preserves the approach angle and radiator airflow path. U.S./Global and Europe variants account for the different bumper openings.
Order a kit or reuse a compatible straight bar
A complete kit includes the bracket and lighting. If you already have a compatible straight LED bar, order the DVA Front Bumper Light Mount separately ($399). Confirm the bar dimensions on the product page before ordering mount-only.

The 3-Light Kit puts 13,200 lm across three aiming points
Three 40W Cree units produce a rated 13,200 lm combined through a spot-flood pattern. Each housing can be aimed independently. Set the center for distance and fan the outer units for peripheral coverage.

The 2-Light Kit delivers about 8,800 lm on EXT1
Two 40W Cree units produce 8,800 lm combined, the same per-unit output as the 3-Light Kit with one less aiming point. The layout suits rural roads, predawn starts, and touring.

The 32" Bar Kit uses one continuous housing
The 32-inch bar trades independent aiming for a continuous horizontal wash. Read the rated draw on the bar before assigning a circuit. Use EXT1 at 120W or less; a higher rating requires EXT5 and the High-Load Panel.

Install the bracket, then wire the selected circuit
- Gather the basic hand tools listed in the current installation instructions.
- Remove the specified bumper fasteners.
- Position the region-correct bracket and reinstall the hardware.
- Torque every fastener to the value in the current DVA instructions. Do not substitute a generic torque value.
- Mount and aim the lights, then complete the wiring sequence below.
Euro bumpers with an integrated winch are not compatible. The winch housing occupies the bracket area.

Wire EXT1 and EXT5 as unterminated under-hood circuits
EXT1 and EXT5 are bare-wire pigtails under the hood. They do not have connectors fitted at the factory. EXT2 and EXT3 are the roof ports with DTP connectors.
EXT5 is available only on Grenadiers equipped with the High-Load Auxiliary Switch Panel. Confirm that option before choosing the 3-Light Kit.

- Identify the circuit. EXT1 is 10A, about 120W. EXT5 is 25A, about 300W.
- Confirm the High-Load Auxiliary Switch Panel is present before planning to use EXT5.
- Terminate the EXT1 pigtail with a Deutsch DT 2-pin connector. EXT1 uses DT, not DTP, because its smaller-gauge wiring is matched to the 10A circuit. Terminate EXT5 with hardware appropriate to the 25A circuit and the current DVA wiring guide.
- Route the lighting lead forward and protect it from heat, sharp edges, and moving parts.
- Ground to the factory chassis ground stud near the driver-side headlight. Do not create a ground point on a painted surface.
- Test from the overhead switch panel. Both circuits remain reversible and require no BCM modification.
3-Light Kit: use EXT5. At 120W, EXT1 is at its ceiling and is not recommended. If the vehicle lacks the High-Load Panel, do not assign the 3-Light Kit to EXT1.
2-Light Kit: EXT1 is adequate at about 80W.
32" Bar Kit: check the bar's rated draw. Use EXT1 only when the rating is 120W or less.
Amber covers protect lenses and change beam color
The Amber / Yellow Snap-On Light Covers ($39 for a set of 3) protect the three lenses and change the beam color. Amber light can reduce glare-back in dust, fog, snow, and rain.
Confirm the rules in your jurisdiction before road use. A translucent amber cover is not an opaque, non-reflective cover where that type of cover is required.
The use cases are distinct. Choose the 2-Light Kit for rural touring and predawn starts, the 3-Light Kit for unmaintained roads that need center throw plus flanking spread, or the 32" Bar Kit for open terrain where horizontal fill matters more than separate aiming points.
Confirm four items before ordering
- Confirm U.S./Global or Europe bumper specification.
- Confirm the Europe bumper does not have the integrated winch.
- Confirm whether the vehicle has EXT1 only or the High-Load Panel with EXT5.
- For mount-only orders, confirm the straight bar dimensions against the product page.
