Separate Four Different Questions
- Suspension fitment: Does the kit maker list the exact Grenadier variant?
- Tire clearance: Does the exact wheel offset, tire model, pressure, steering angle, and suspension travel clear?
- Driveline geometry: Has the installer checked shafts, joints, hoses, wiring, and alignment through travel?
- Overall height: What is the measured highest point after the roof system and cargo are installed?
Use Manufacturer Fitment as the Starting Point
Eibach publishes a Grenadier Pro-Lift product release for the application. That confirms the listed suspension product's intended vehicle fitment; it does not certify every wheel, tire, roof system, garage, alignment setting, or driveline combination. Use the current kit instructions and a qualified alignment/inspection process.
Tire Size Is Not a Clearance Guarantee
Nominal size does not capture measured tire diameter, section width, wheel offset, production tolerance, pressure, load, steering sweep, or articulation. Verify static clearance, full steering lock, compression and droop, brake-hose and wiring clearance, and contact marks on the exact vehicle.
Measure Garage Clearance
Measure floor-to-highest-point height after the build, on level ground, with the tires at operating pressure and the vehicle loaded as it normally enters the garage. Then measure the lowest part of the opening and any door, track, seal, sprinkler, or slope transition. Maintain a deliberate margin for load, pressure, snow, and floor variation.

Pre- and Post-Install Measurement Sheet

Stop-and-Inspect Symptoms
After a geometry change, new vibration, clunking, boot distortion, grease leakage, polished contact marks, tire rub, steering interference, or a changed alignment reading warrants inspection before more highway or trail use. These symptoms do not diagnose a component by themselves; they identify a condition that needs measurement.
I can confirm that the Mickey Thompson 255/85r17 fits without rubbing on factory wheels and factory suspension even under full articulation and at full steering lock.
