Why the Dual Finish Matters
Anodize First
Anodizing converts the aluminum surface into aluminium oxide — bonded into the metal, not a coating on top. Provides a hard base layer and prepares the surface for the powder coat.
Powder Coat Over
Powder coat applied over the anodized layer adds chip resistance, scratch protection, and a UV-stable colour layer. The factory version stops at anodize — this goes further.
Result: Trail-Ready Durability
Two finish layers versus one means the DVA belt resists the stone chips, brush contact, UV exposure, and trail abuse that cause factory anodized panels to show wear over time.
