ABS Plastic
Automotive-grade acrylonitrile butadiene styrene — the same material class used in OEM exterior trim. Lightweight, impact-resistant, and dimensionally stable.
UV Stability
ABS formulation resists UV degradation — maintains gloss and colour consistency under extended sun exposure without chalking or fading.
Gloss Black Finish
High-gloss black surface coat. Matches standard factory gloss black trim across the Grenadier range. Can be machine-polished if surface marring occurs.
Installation
- Clean the vehicle mounting surface thoroughly — remove all wax, grease, silicone, and debris
- Apply adhesion promoter to the vehicle contact surface
- Install at room temperature — 70°F / 21°C minimum
- Position spoiler, press firmly along the full tape contact area
- Optional: warm the vehicle contact surface to 150°F / 65°C with a heat gun for maximum initial bond strength
- Allow 24 hours of curing time before driving
⚠️ Installation Requirements
Careful installation is required at room temperature (70°F / 21°C). Allow 24 hours of curing time after installation before driving. Ensure the mounting surface is clean, dry, and free of wax or debris for proper adhesion. Apply adhesion promoter to the vehicle surface.
Optional (for maximum bond): Use a heat gun to warm the vehicle contact surface to 150°F (65°C) immediately before application.
Removal & Reversibility
- Apply heat gun to the spoiler body until adhesive softens — work edge to edge
- Use a plastic trim tool to lift edges progressively — do not pry against paintwork
- Remove residual adhesive with isopropyl alcohol or adhesive remover
- No drilling means no surface penetration — paintwork remains unmodified
- Suitable for lease returns and vehicles with original paint
