Installing Your DVA Mechanics Hi-Lift Jack Mounting System

Installing Your DVA Mechanics Hi-Lift Jack Mounting System

Thank You for Choosing the DVA Mechanics Hi-Lift Jack Mounting System for the Ineos Grenadier!

The installation process is quick and straightforward. Your kit includes:

  • (3) 3” Lower Clamps
  • (3) Universal Upper Clamps
  • (3) M8 Mounting Knobs
  • (12) M4 x 10mm Stainless Steel Screws
  • (6) Thick Rubber Bushings (for horizontal ladder rails and Ineos Roof Rails; not typically needed for a standard Hi-Lift installation)
  • (6) Thin Rubber Bushings (for vertical ladder rails when mounting your Hi-Lift jack)

Recommended Mounting Location

The ideal mounting position is on the left vertical rails of the rear ladder. When choosing this spot, consider:

  1. Ensuring the base of the Hi-Lift jack clears the top of the rear bumper.
  2. Ensuring the Hi-Lift jack does not contact the rear taillight when the door is fully open.

Installation Steps

  1. Insert one Thin Rubber Bushing into the 3” Lower Clamp and one Thin Rubber Bushing into the Universal Upper Clamp. This protects the rail surface while providing a tight, secure attachment.
  2. Use (4) M4 x 10mm Stainless Steel Screws to secure the Lower Clamp, Upper Clamp, and Thin Rubber Bushings together.
  3. Attach the first clamp to the ladder:
  • In our example, we mounted the first clamp approximately 2” above the top step of the ladder, with the Universal Upper Clamp facing outward.
  • Secure the M8 Mounting Knob through the 8th hole from the top of your Hi-Lift jack.
  1. Once the top clamp is secure, position the remaining two clamps to securely grip your Hi-Lift jack.

Key Considerations

  • Ensure the Hi-Lift does not contact the rear bumper or the rear taillight when the door is fully open.
  • Placement may vary depending on the Hi-Lift model you’re using.
